Head of School
With over 40 years experience as a Montessori classroom guide, school owner and Administrator, Christine is well versed in all areas of Montessori education. She holds a Birth to Three credential from the American Montessori Society and a 3-6 Montessori credential from the Montessori Institute of America, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Bible/Christian Education. As an international Montessori teacher-trainer, currently Christine serves as the President of the Montessori Institute of America. Her interests include music, scrapbooking, Bible Study, and her grandchildren. Christine lives in Gainesville, GA with her husband and son and volunteers in the children’s ministry at her church. We are pleased to have a Head of School who is also an experienced Montessori teacher.
Michelle has been teaching young children for over 11 years, seven of those years in Montessori environments. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a 3-6 Montessori credential from the Montessori Teacher Preparation of Washington. Michelle is also an international Montessori teacher trainer and translator. Her gentle nature and sweet spirit make her a huge asset to our classroom. Her interests include psychology, computer science, and music. She is involved in Bible Study at her church and she sings on the Worship team. Michelle lives in Cumming, GA with her husband and three young children. We are honored to have her as our lead primary teacher.
We are happy to have Miss Sherry back on our staff. Sherry successfully taught our elementary class the first couple of years. She is an experienced elementary teacher and a gifted reading teacher. She also has helped us with student assessment for years. Sherry is married with two grown girls and loves her new role as grandmother!
We are a private Christian school that employs staff members who are well educated, experienced, and committed to teaching a worldview based on Judeo-Christian ethics. All teachers hold a bachelor’s degree and a nationally recognized Montessori teaching credential, or are in the process of attaining their credential.
Staff members are First Aid/CPR certified and have passed Federal criminal background checks.
All staff members are professing Christians and active in a local church.
